Suez Canal Bank
- an Egyptian joint stock company - was established in accordance with the provisions of The Egyptian Investment Law and its amendments.

  • Authorized and paid up capital of EGP 10 million and paid up capital EGP 2.5 million.

  • Head office in Ismailia, Egypt.

  • Chairman , Mr. Mohamed Mohamed El-Khawaga.
Suez Canal Bank ranked as number 1 among the private banks and number 5 among all commercial banks and within the top hundred banks operating in the Arab region.
Suez Canal Bank shares were listed on both Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchange.
Suez Canal Bank opened an Islamic operations branch in Dokki, Giza rendering all its banking services in accordance with Islamic Shari'ah in order to fulfill the needs of a sector of clients.
Authorized capital was increased to EGP paid up capital reached EGP 100 million.
The Bank was rated by Fitch Rating and Thomson Financial Bank Watch – both International Rating Agencies.
  • Suez Canal Bank was one of the first banks obtaining the approval of the Central Bank of Egypt to deal as primary dealers in treasury bills, and government bonds; as well as custodians.

  • Libyan Representative Office was opened.
Establishment of centralized operations center.
Authorized capital was increased to EGP 2 billion and paid up capital reached EGP 1 billion .

  • Relocating Sphinx branch to Syria st. in Mohandeseen with a new corporate identity.

  • New branch opened in Ain El Sokhna,Suez.

Opening new branch in Shoubra , Branches network totaled 31 branches including the new branch.
Opening new branch in El Manial, Branches network totaled 32 branches including the new branch., in addition to the planned 2 new branches under development which will be opened in early 2016 .
Opening two new branches in El-Tagamoa El-Khames - New Cairo and Port Tawfik - Suez Canal Area. Branches network totaled 34 including new branches .
Opening two branches in Economic Zone- Ain Sokhna and El-Ahrar-Mohandeseen. Branches network totaled 36 including the two new branches.
